Hon. Tommy Turnquest, Minister of National Security brings remarks during the
Anti-Crime Youth Rally September 29 in the Church of God Auditorium. The event
was sponsored by Her Majesty's Prisons, in conjunction with the Ministry of
National Security and the Ministry of Education.

Funeral Service for Cecil Williams Jr. age 37 affectionately called "Cec" of Bannerman Town Eleuthera, who died September 17th at the Princess Margaret Hospital, will be held on Saturday 11:00 a.m.at St. Mary The Virgin Anglican Church Bannerman Town Eleuthera. Evangelist Lincoln Young assisted by Father Shazz Turnquest and Minister Philip McPhee will officiate and interment will follow in the Public Cemetery Bannerman Town Eleuthera

Memories will forever linger in the hearts of:

Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at the CHAPEL OF MEMORIES COMMONWEALTH FUNERAL HOME INDEPENDENCE DRIVE on Thursday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. and at the Church Of Christ in Rock Sound on Friday from 7:00 p.m.-Midnight and on Saturday at St. Mary The Virgin Anglican Church from 9:30 a.m. to service time.

Funeral service for Cassey Ahroda Forbes, 85 yrs., a resident of Marigold Lane, South Beach & formerly of Little Creek, South Andros, & formerly of Little Creek, South Andros, will be held at The Church of God of Prophecy, Seven Hills, on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be Bishop Clarence N. Williams, assisted by Rev. Pastor Julian A. Johnson & Rev. Pastor Mrs. Rowena S. Fawkes Interment follows in Woodlawn Gardens, Soldier Road.

MIAMI, FL - Dr. Alejandro Badia, MD, FACS, and world-renowned Hand and Upper Limb Surgeon, President of the ISSPORTH (International Society for Sport Traumatology of the Hand), returns to Bahamas, this time to Freeport invited for a Medical Conference. Dr. Badia has recently performed three successful surgeries on the renowned biker Guilherme Berg (GUI BERG).  

"In 2010, I broke my right collarbone in the middle of the championship and I thought my year was over! I went back to see Dr. Badia, who six months earlier treated successfully my broken right wrist. He scheduled my surgery for the next day in his state of the art facility. One month and a half later I was racing again...
