Response to Mr. Maurice Moore's comments and a personal review of the industrial park debacle

I
read with utter amazement and unbelief the interview Mr. Maurice Moore
gave to the Tribune and published into Tuesday, March 27, 2013 edition,
with reference to the tragedies which have befallen the residents in the
areas around the industrial park.  Back in the days when I personally
waged a battle against these industrial giants which were destroying
that area, sickening the residents and students

Sunday 31st March, Police on Grand Bahama are continuing their
investigations into the death of a black female whose body was pulled
from the water shortly after 3:00am.

It
was an early morning call at 2:36am to the Police Emergency Room that
resulted in a team of officers responding to the Canal area just off
Port of Call Drive where it was reported that a vehicle had gone
overboard into the canal and persons were trapped inside.

On
arrival at the scene, police discovered that one of the victims, a 31
year old female had escaped from the vehicle and the body of a second
female who appeared to be in her mid-twenties was subsequently pulled
from the water by police and a concerned citizen and the body was
pronounced dead by a medical doctor at the scene. Initial reports are
