Doctors Hospital’s Blood Bank is in URGENT need of all blood types. We are asking assistance from your radio stations and newspapers in order to inform the community on this urgent matter. We request for your DJs to make an appeal on air, as often as possible, to assist our blood appeal.

Results of the BAAA 2011 National HS Relays

Nassau, Bahamas - Saturday the 29th of January the BAAA
hosted the 2011 high school relays, one thing that was so
very noticeable was the Freeport schools not participating, which made a
big difference in the level of competation. There were seventeen
schools participating, one from the family island, Moore's Island All
Age School, the other sixteen from Nassau: St . Augustine's College,
Jordan Prince William HS, C.I. Gibson School, Charles W. Saunders
School, Faith Temple Academy, Doris Johnson School, Nassau Christian
Academy, Queens College, C.C. Sweeting School, R.M. Bailey School,
Anatol Rodgers School, Temple Christian HS, Mt. Carmel HS, H.O. Nash
School, C.V. Bethel HS and D.W. Davis School.
The teams participated in forty relay events: 4x100, 4x200, 4x400, 4x800 and sprint medleys. Enclosed are your division winners...
