This year, The Bahamas International Film Festival (BIFF) will screen over 50 International and Bahamian films featuring a number of world-renowned actors and filmmakers. In addition to being a proud sponsor of the annual festival, the Caribbean Bottling Company (CBC) will also debut the “We are Coca-Cola Bahamas” documentary.

“At CBC, we are dedicated to supporting Bahamian culture, and the arts” noted Nikia Wells, CBC Communications Marketing Manager. “We think that BIFF’s mission to showcase diverse films from around the world while providing unique cultural experiences and educational programs is extremely important for the growth and development of the Bahamian storytelling community. We are not only proud to support the event but also excited to showcase the “We are Coca-Cola Bahamas” documentary that highlights the unity of our Bahamian people.”

“We are Coca-Cola Bahamas” is a heartwarming documentary recounting the support of CBC, their Coca-Cola international colleagues and Bahamians from all walks of life uniting to provide relief in the wake of Hurricane Dorian. The short film will be screened at 7pm on Dec 14 at the Rosewood, Baha Mar.

During the festival’s opening night, on Dec 11, CBC also shared a bit of Bahamian pride by providing Bahamas Goombay Punch signature cocktails and giveaways for festival attendees. “We wanted to provide something refreshing and fun for BIFF participants” added Gabriella Suighi, CBC Activations Marketing Manager. “At the opening ceremony we served up Bahamas Goombay Punch Mojitos in special Goombay cups, and during the closing ceremony, we will keep attendees hydrated with our new Dasani Sparkling Water flavors.”

The BIFF closing ceremony will take place on Dec 15 at the Rosewood, Baha Mar.
