A CONVICTED murderer's appeal hearing against a life sentence has been pushed back another two months after an issue was raised concerning another life sentence he is purportedly serving for armed robbery.

MINISTER of Youth, Sports and Culture Dr Danny Johnson called on young Bahamians who feel disillusioned or helpless to contact the Division of Youth right away. Dr Johnson said he intends to meet personally with many of the young people who respond to his call, because he wants them to know they have opportunities and options, and may only need a little guidance...

PRIME Minister Perry Christie emphasised protecting the Caribbean’s “fragile environment” and addressing illegal immigration throughout the Caribbean region during his speech on the opening day of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (Celac) Summit in Havana, Cuba yesterday. The Summit, which ends today, is the second of its kind and its slogan is “the fight against hunger, poverty and inequality”...
