PLP Chiefs opens Sea Breeze PLP Command Centre on Joe Farrington Road

last evening opened the Sea Breeze command centre on Joe Farrington Road opposite Galilee School.
Party leader Christie encouraged the team in the community to continue their hard work as they deliver new hope to the Bahamas.
He told the many residents gathered that a strong woman like

who has preformed as a committed Senator, deserves to be elected to the
House of Assembly and will no doubt represent the people of the
community well in the next PLP government...

FREEPORT - The Progressive Liberal Party officially introduced its five candidates to Grand Bahama on Friday at the Grand Lucaya Resort, where PLP leader Perry Christie unveiled plans to revitalise Grand Bahama's economy.
Mr Christie stressed that Grand Bahama has been neglected and left to suffer for four and half years by the FNM government.
He and the five candidates, including Julian Russell, the candidate for Central Grand Bahama, Gregory Moss, Marco City; Tanisha Tynes, East Grand Bahama; Senator Dr Michael Darville, Pineridge; and Obie Wilchcombe, West Grand Bahama, introduced plans for "Project Grand B ...

Cyclists out in full force

More than 100 cyclists from as far away as California descended on the ninth annual Tour of the Bahamas - the nation's premier cycling event - this weekend in Nassau.
Local and foreign competitors competed for up to $16,000 in cash prizes and awards.
Sports director Tim Munnings said the Tour of the Bahamas is "one of the most important events on the sports calendar."
For the first time, a non-competitive Family Fun Ride was also held in conjunction with the competitive pro, master and junior tour races.
