Let's honor the memory of our leaders

Dear Editor,
It has been over 10 years since the death of the late Sir Lynden Pindling, and we, as a nation, have yet to seriously and satisfactorily honor the memory of this legendary Bahamian, perhaps it is time to get the ball rolling.

It seems that this idea of a heroes park is bogged down in the paralysis of analysis, and it cannot see the light of day. Who is or is not to be included in such a park is a major bone of contention, and one that will have to be resolved by the appropriate persons.

For my part, I should like to make what many might consider a strange and somewhat startling proposition, but I shall make iit nonetheless. I propose that a 25-foot bronze statue of Sir Lynden be er ...
