A Lemon That Can Be Eaten Like an Apple

It looks like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like a duck -- so it must be a duck? So, if it looks like a lemon, then it must be . . . a lemon? That's true, unless it's a Meyer lemon a fruit that will turn your thoughts of what a lemon is completely topsy turvy. If memory serves me correctly, I?first heard of Meyer Lemons about three years ago. I learned that they looked like lemons, but did not have the acidic, tart, nature that is this citrus fruit. The Meyer Lemon juices were so sweet that you could reportedly eat one like an apple -- skin and all. Hmmmm! I learned that the Meyer Lemon is a cross between a lemon and a mandarin orange, has a smooth golden skin, and.....
