Good morning Minister Halkitis, Minister of
State for Finance, Senior Customs and Government officials, regional
Customs Officials and those of you from Carisma Marketing Services: it
is my pleasure to bring opening remarks to you this morning.

As
most of you are aware, the Ministry of Financial Services has
responsibility for the international trade policy of The Bahamas.
Customs, by way of the management of the movement of international
goods, plays an integral role in the trade regime of The Bahamas and I
am pleased by this training initiative today...
