A judge on Thursday denied bail for two brothers accused of murder. Rashad Nottage, 25, and Ramon Nottage, 21, of Bethel Avenue, Stapledon Gardens, are accused of the shooting death and armed robbery of Akyto Smith on February 15. Senior Justice Jon Isaacs found no unreasonable delay in the case.

Prosecutors allege that the pair killed Smith, stole the rims off his Honda Accord and stuffed him in the trunk of the car. Prosecutors transferred the case to the Supreme Court by a voluntary bill of indictment on August 8.

They are scheduled for arraignment before Justice Isaacs on November 2. The accused are the sons of Pastor Randy Nottage of Mount Tabor Full Gospel Church. Koschina Marshall appeared for the Crown and Murrio Ducille appeared for the accused.
