ENGINEERS 'HARMED'BY BREWING CIVIL WAR

THE BAHAMIAN engineering profession is "going to be harmed" by the brewing civil war within its self-regulatory organisation, the Bahamas Society of Engineers (BSE) president last night describing as "shameful" the allegations levelled against himself over a Baha Mar-related contract.

Robert Reiss, who heads his own firm, Reiss Engineering, in completely denying and dismissing allegations that he improperly influenced a Government tender process, hinted to Tribune Business that the claims made against him were influenced more by the competitive threat he posed to rival Bahamian firms.
