Pca 2012 gets underway with $100k Super High Roller

The 2012 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure kicked off at noon today with Event #1, the $100k Super High Roller. A total of 30 players entered (with two rebuys) creating a total prize pool of $3,136,000. Five places are being paid; the winner gets $1,254,400 as well as a stunning bracelet worth over $20,000 from Official Bracelet Sponsor Shamballa Jewels.

Just 18 players made it through Day 1. American Isaac Haxton, who came sixth at the EPT5 London High Roller, is chip leader going into Day 2 with 1.24m. Team PokerStars Pro Viktor "Isildur1" Blom is currently second with 875,000. Defending champion Team PokerStars Pro Eugene Katchalov bust in Level 7. Both Day 2 tomorrow and Saturday's final table are being filmed for TV broadcast. Here is the Day 2 seat draw:
