THE next time you write your shopping list keep in mind that not all breakfast cereals are created equal. While some offer nutritious ingredients, many of them are outrageously high in sugar.

Getting your kids to eat healthy and nutritious cereals may be difficult, but it could save you a trip to the dentist in the future.

According to the Environmental Working Group (EWG), an American environmental research and advocacy organisation, there are a number of popular cereals that pack more sugar than snacks, cakes and cookies.
