MOST women dread the onset of menopause - the hot flashes, night sweats, and decreased sexual drive.

To most women the change of life signifies the loss of youth and desirability. It's the gradual metamorphosis from youth into old age.

Some women go through menopause with few or no symptoms, but many women experience short-term or acute symptoms such as hot flushes, dizziness, headaches, vaginal dryness, heart palpitations.

They may also grieve over the loss of their youth, which can manifest as mild depression and anxiety.
