"Homage"
an Exhibition of New Works by Antonius Roberts and Damaso Gray, set to
open on

November 10th at New Providence Art & Antiques.

Mr. Robert's work has long embodied the history and cultural heritage
of the Bahamas. Be it with use of material, space or subject, Roberts
has had his finger on the pulse of our society. In "Homage" Antonius
pays tribute to our own artistic legacy with work honoring three of our
past masters.

Mr. Gray draws on his experiences of growing up in Williams Town,
Exuma. He is interested in the loss of traditional way of life and the
contradictions of modern society.  He honors our elders in his work,
seeing them as an embodiment of Bahamian culture...
