Police on Abaco are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 61-year-old man from Warminster, Pennsylvania.

Initial reports state that around 12:45 pm on Wednesday, the deceased, a passenger aboard a cruise ship, encountered breathing issues while snorkeling in the waters of Castaway Cay. Despite the lifeguards' rescue efforts and the administration of CPR, he remained unresponsive. The victim was later transported back to the cruise ship, where the ship's doctor examined him and pronounced him dead. 

An autopsy will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death. Investigations are actively underway.
