The CHTA Education Foundation, with longtime sponsor Interval International, is delighted at the swift sold-out interest in our regionally acclaimed Caribbean Supercharged Service workshop series.

The Education Foundation finishes out a packed year of regional training with the late-November visit to Grand Bahama Island, where we will welcome over 100 Bahamian hospitality professionals. The one-day dynamic workshops include Heartfelt Guest Care for all team members and Effective Results-Driven Communication for Managers & Supervisors.

The training is a collaboration between the Education Foundation and sponsor Interval International, Contributing Partner Pelican Bay Resort, and is endorsed by the Bahamas Hotel & Tourism Association.

Karolin Troubetzkoy, Chairwoman of the Education Foundation said “The swift response to our upcoming training sessions is indeed heartening. It not only indicates the enthusiasm of the participants but also underscores the value they see in equipping themselves for outstanding service delivery. Our goal is to empower them with tools that fuse efficiency with grace and professionalism.”

“Interval International is delighted to sponsor the CHTA Education Foundation’s Grand Bahama Island Training Program, where our Timeshare Partners will join with other tourism professionals to enjoy and learn from dynamic, focused, Service and Supervisory Training workshops,” said Neil Kolton, Interval’s Director of Business Development for Caribbean, Florida, and Southeast Asia.

“Interval International is proud to continue our sponsor relationship with the CHTA Education Foundation. We have sponsored individuals academically for many years, and since 2018, on-island training programs that have impacted over 150 tourism professionals. Our guests love the Caribbean, and it is our pleasure to support the uplift of how they are cared for during their vacations.”

Education Foundation trainers Louise John and Suzanne Shillingford-Brooks of Talkabout-EarthSolutions, are excited about bringing their innovative and fun-filled style of training to Grand Bahama Island.

“Caribbean Supercharged Service Training is designed to help hospitality team members master the essential skills and techniques that will delight their customers. Our Supervisor & Manager Effective Results Driven Communications, day will give valuable techniques for immediate application in their workplaces,” John explained.

“We take a practical approach to training, ensuring every participant is engaged and has an enjoyable time as they learn. We are looking forward to bringing these proven and stimulating practical workshops to Grand Bahama Island as a boost before the busy festive season begins.”
