HGC, a trailblazing real estate company, celebrated a triumphant milestone as their exceptional documentary 'Vision' made its international debut in Trinidad & Tobago after an impressive premiere at the Island House Cinema. Garnering two esteemed international accolades in the 2023 Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA) Communicator Awards, 'Vision' chronicles the remarkable life of Real Estate Magnate Sir Harold G Christie, resonating profoundly with diverse audiences.

Directed by the renowned Bahamian filmmaker Kareem Mortimer, 'Vision' tells the incredible story of Sir Harold and was filmed over a two-year period at a time when major Covid restrictions had halted traditional production methods. “I think the beauty of this project is that we’ve been able to transport viewers through time and history,” Mortimer said, “I think combined with the visuals and of course, the heartfelt narratives from the people who knew Sir Harold best, audiences have been able to connect in a real way to his story and to the story of The Bahamas.”

First unveiled during the company's centennial celebrations in 2022, the film has been hailed for its ability to entertain, educate, and inspire. For HGC Christie's Managing Broker, John Christie, the movie is more than just a retelling of his family history but an opportunity to provide insight into the country’s national development as well. It’s a story that has so far been enthusiastically received by audiences both locally and abroad.

"Taking 'Vision' beyond our shores was an incredible experience. The warm reception from our friends in Trinidad & Tobago reaffirms the universal appeal of Sir Harold Christie's story. It was an honor to share this remarkable journey with our Caribbean neighbors, and I'm deeply touched by their positive response," said Christie.

The film's international premiere in Trinidad & Tobago marked a significant milestone in HG Christie's commitment to celebrating Bahamian history and culture on a global stage. 'Vision' continues to transcend boundaries, bridging connections across the Caribbean.

"We could not have anticipated the incredible reception the film has received," said Managing Broker John Christie. "Sir Harold Christie's story is that of a true Bahamian pioneer in both Real Estate and Tourism. The enthusiastic embrace of the film by audiences is truly heartening."
