Civil Aviation Authority Bahamas (CAA-B) National Aviation Security and Facilitation(AVSEC/FAL) Inspectors Ms. Kaylesa Bodie and Mr. Lincoln Adderley successfully completed the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) National InspectorsCourse, held at the Airports Authority of Trinidad and Tobago Training Centre, in Portof Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.
During the ten (10) day course, both National AVSEC/FAL Inspectors were providedwith theoretical and practical knowledge of fundamental aspects of the audits andinspections as a part of a State’s National Aviation Security Quality Control system.
The course participants, which included representatives from Antigua and Barbuda,Curacao, British Virgin Islands, Trinidad and Tobago and the United States of America,were required to pass an end of course exam based on Annex 17 - Aviation Security,the ICAO Aviation Security Manual (Doc 8973 - Restricted), and materials presentedduring the course.
