Full Military Funeral Service for the late Retired Assistant Commissioner of Police, Ashton C. Miller, aged 85, of Flamingo Drive, Seabreeze Estates, will be held on Friday, 28th July 2023, at 10.00 a.m. at Christ The King Anglican Church, Ridgeland Park West. Officiating will be Archdeacon Dwight Rolle, assisted by Rev. Desiree Johnson, Canon Stephen Davies, and Deacon Cameron Saunders. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Gardens, Soldier Road.

He was pre-deceased by his parents: Wendell Miller and Maude Greene; his sons: Linton Miller and Ricardo Miller; his brothers: Lawrence, Wilbur, Joe & William Miller; and his sisters: Nathalie Brown and Gertrude Lightbourne.

He is survived by his children: Allison Miller; Ingrid Hunt; Glenroy Miller; Glen Miller; Stephen Miller; Mario (Gertrude) Miller; and Ashley Miller; and Jeffrey Wallace (adopted); grandchildren: Allison Jr. and Ashton II Miller; Damarjee Hunt; Alisha, Kristen, and Glenda Miller; Aaliyah and Amare Miller; Stevenno Miller; and Mario Jr., Maris, and Marin Miller; great grandchildren: Rashad Miller; Azai and Neveah Miller; and Amera Fax; sister: Areona Owens; sister-in-law: Rose Miller; uncle & aunt: Vincent Miller and Emma Pickstock; nephews & nieces: Leon Evans, Eardley, John and Marilyn Butcher, Willis Lightbourne, Idelle LaFleur, Maxine Johnson, Mae Cartwright, Linda Owens-Ferguson, Miller; Maxine Lightbourne, Sherise, Michael, Melissa and Tonia Miller, Dianne Saunders, and Kevin Romer; Robert & Raymond Hepburn; Roshann, Corri (Kopano) & Peter Miller, Daphne Jones, Randolph, Brandon Fisher, and PC 3941 Chad Brown (Able Woman Andreika Brown); and a host of other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

Friends may pay their last respects at the Paul Farquharson Centre, Royal Bahamas Police Force Headquarters, East Street, on Thursday, 27th July 2023, from 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. There will be no viewing at the church.
