The Attorney General's Office and Ministry of Legal Affairs held an Independence Decoration Competition for their office facilities in the Paul L. Adderley Building along a theme that portrayed the quaint beauty of islands of the archipelago.  Judging took place on Friday, June 30, 2023 -- just over a week before celebrations of the 50th Anniversary of Independence on July 10.  Attorney General and Minister of Legal Affairs, Senator the Hon. Ryan Pinder and the Minister of State in the Ministry of Legal Affairs the Hon. Jomo Campbell enjoyed with staff the journey through the islands and cays with history, favourite Bahamian foods, and artistic expression making it a special experience.   The MICAL group won first place -- a trophy and 'A Day Away to Rose Island' gift certificate.
