Funeral service for the late Reverend Jonathan Godfrey Simms age 82 years of #23 Sunrise Way, Winton Meadows and formerly of Clarence Town, Long Island will be held on Saturday, June 17th, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Faith United Missionary Baptist Church, Faith United Way & Baillou Hill Road South.

Officiating will Rev. Dr. William Thompson, President Emeritus, Bahamas National Baptist Convention, Rev. Dr. A. Shelton Higgs, Moderator, Bahamas Baptist Association, Rev. Dr. Arthur Charlton, 1st Vice Moderator, Bahamas Baptist Association & Rev. Dr. Stephen E. Thompson, Pastor, Transfiguration Baptist Church assisted by Rev. Ronald Nick Hepburn, Pastor, liberty United Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. Dr. G. Elton Major, Pastor, Metropolitan Baptist Church, Rev. Stephen D. Ferguson Sr., Pastor, Judaea Baptist Church & Rev. Viewing will be held Liberty United Missionary Baptist Church, Hibiscus Close off Soldier Road before Lowe's Pharmacy heading east on Friday from 12 noon. to 5:00 p.m. and again at the church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until service time.
