Day of Love Motorcade and Family Fun Day, Grand Bahama

The National Commission for Persons With Disabilities, in conjunction with the Ministry of Social Services and Urban Development, will host its 2nd Annual Day of Love Motorcade and Family Fun Day. The event will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023.  The motorcade will begin at the Department of Social Services office in Sun Coral Plaza at 10am and end at Independence Park where the fun day will begin at noon.

To encourage participation, transportation will be provided for those living from West Grand Bahama to East Grand Bahama. Pick up times are as follows: For West End and Eight Mile Rock, pick up time will be at 9:00am from St. Mary Magdalene Church in West End, and Harbour Bay Plaza in Eight Mile Rock.  East Grand Bahama Sweeting’s Cay, McLean’s Town and Pelican Point will also have a 9:00am pick up.  And High Rock, Gambier Point, Freetown, and Gold Rock Creek will also have a 9:00am pick up.

Residents are encouraged to participate in the motorcade and not just the family fun day.
