Team Colina attended the Met Gala: Escape Masquerade Ball, the 20th annual ball of the Cancer Society of The Bahamas on Saturday, May 28 at the Atlantis.

“Colina is Bahamian and we are committed to the health and wellness of The Bahamas and to supporting organizations, like The Cancer Society of The Bahamas,” said Maxine V. Seymour, Director, Corporate Communications, Colina. “We attended last year’s hybrid ball but we are pleased that this year, the Society is able to have a fully in-person event.”

Colina has supported the Cancer and other benefit balls and fundraisers for many years, including the Red Cross, Heart and AIDS galas, among others.

“This year we are paying tribute to our many survivors with our depiction of the many colours that represent the different forms of cancer,” Lovern Wildgoose, Ball Co-Chair.

The Ball was held under the patronage of the Hon. Philip E. Davis, Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, and Mrs. Davis.

“The Cancer Society remains committed to the fight against all cancers, continuing to provide education to increase awareness and to assist individuals and families through the various housing and support programs,” said Nicole Leary-Imhoff, Ball Co-Chair.
