The Bahamas Society for Human Resource Management (BSHRM) installed its 2022 Executive Board on Thursday, January 13, 2022, in a hybrid event under the theme: “Transforming Human Resources Through Innovation and Development.”

The keynote speaker Mr. K. Darron Turnquest delivered a sobering charge to the executive board and its members encouraging BSHRM executives to realign their focus, by drafting policies that would aide in the governance of issues such as social ills and gender-based violence in the workplace.

Director of Labor, Mr. Robert Farquarson, also congratulated the new executive teams and extended to join the Bahamas National Tripartite Association. He also recommitted to the partnership between BSHRM & Department of Labor to offer support with labor-related programmes and initiatives. This includes assisting the business community in upskilling the workforce entrants with the requisite soft skills needed to attain suitable employment.
