Paula is a lifetime jewelry professional with over 36 years' experience in the retail business, 15 of which she managed John Bull, Port Lucaya.
When John Bull closed after Hurricane Dorian, Paula decided to follow her dream and open her own store.
Paula asked her friend Stephen Crane to help her design and merchandise her dream store and Stephen, now retired, readily agreed to help. So Paula found a great corner location behind Oasis Port Lucaya and started to design and build out the store, it was originally planned to open in April 2020 but COVID19 restrictions pushed back the opening until December 2020.
Her new Amoro store is bright and welcoming, tastefully decorated in earth colors with walls featuring stunning Bahamas beach and water images taken by professional photographer Christine Matthai.
