Team Bahamas took one on the chin yesterday, suffering a tough 6-0 loss to regional powerhouse Cuba in youth baseball.

The young Bahamian players from the Junior Baseball League of Nassau (JBLN) were simply overpowered by one of the more dominant pitchers in the tournament so far, Cuban youngster Cristian Yosvani. Yosvani hurled a perfect game, striking out 17 of the 18 batters he faced. Team Bahamas shortstop Alexander Eneas was the only player of the team to get the ball in play yesterday afternoon.
