The Caribbean Bottling Company (CBC) served up two new cocktails at this year’s Paradise Plates event. The Schweppes Honey Bee cocktail and the non-alcoholic Schweppes Elderflower Spritzer mocktail was a hit with the 2000 guests who attended the fundraiser. Guests who visited the Schweppes Lounge were also gifted with a Schweppes goblet.

The annual culinary showcase highlighted over 40 talented Bahamian and international restaurants, as well as their chefs, mixologists and baristas, while also raising funding for the charitable work of the Hands for Hunger organization.

“Not only is Paradise Plates a celebration of the Bahamian culinary community, but it also helps to support the selfless work of the Hands for Hunger team,” noted Nikia Wells, CBC Marketing Manager- Communications. “We have been a proud supporter and sponsor of the Hands for Hunger organization for a number of years. In addition to providing beverages for their ongoing meal delivery program, we are happy to support their various events and fundraisers. This year, they will celebrate 10 years of working diligently to provide quality and nutritious meals to Bahamians in need, and we wanted to create a fun, engaging and refreshing experience at this year’s Paradise Plates to help the organization celebrate that impressive milestone.”

Inspired by the aesthetic and design elements of the event, the CBC hosted Schweppes lounge featured a garden theme and beverages, a photo-booth, cand a bar featuring the complete Schweppes line – Schweppes Grapefruit, Schweppes Club Soda, Schweppes Tonic Water and Schweppes Ginger Ale.
