FREEPORT - Grand Bahama Power Company is improving its reliability and efficiency level here on Grand Bahama with the instalment of 54 rental generator units.
The units arrived on April 14 and were sourced from Aggreko, a global leader in generator rental. It represents an additional 35MW of supplemental generation at the power company.
According to a press release issued by the Power Company, when coupled with the 10MW units, added last year June, it will amount to 45 MW of supplemental generation for the island.
