Bahamas First General Insurance Company is partnering with the University of The Bahamas as a sponsor of its second UBFIT New Providence event scheduled for April 7, 2018. This event is now a staple event and fundraiser for the University as well as a major component of its Road to Wellness programme.

UBFIT Organizing Committee Chair, Kandice Eldon explained, “UBFIT Fun Run Walk Skate 5K/10K 2017 was the first fundraiser of its kind at University of The Bahamas, and its undeniable success paves the way for deeper and stronger ties between the university and the community we serve.”

Leah R. Davis, Group Marketing & Communications Manager, Bahamas First noted, “We are committed to both giving back to our community and supporting the advancement of education in The Bahamas. We congratulate the University of The Bahamas on its vision and efforts to promote health and wellness through this unique fitness event which invites participants to run, walk, skate or bike for a 5K or 10K and also features a Health Expo.”
