With just days to go before the most anticipated day of his young football career, Myron Rolle has left scouts with positive impressions on the field after a successful showing at his final pre draft workout.

At his "Pro Day," a private workout for specific scouts, agents, and coaches at the ESPN Wide World of Sports, Rolle improved times and scores in each of his core drills originially performed at the NFL scouting combine in.

His most glaring and influential improvement was in the 40 yard dash, one of the more heavily scrutinized drills for NFL Prospets.

At the Combnine in March, Rolle posted a time of 4.59s/4.60s in the 40, a numeber which many felt hurt his draft stock as scouts continued to question his speed and ability to play the safety position after almost a year away from the game.

Rolle improved his 40 time to 4.52s at his pro day, a drastic improvement placing him amongst the better performers in the drill.

Rolle also improved his time in the Three COne Drill from 6.94s to 6.47s, one of the top times among prospects at any position.

He also lowered his time in the shuttle drill from 4.15s to 4.08s. By comparison, consensus overall top rated safety, Eric Berry from the Univerisity of Tennessee has posted times of 4.47s in the 40 yard dash, 6.80 in the Three Cone Drill and 4.23s in the 20 yard shuttle.

The NFL Draft takes place April 22nd at 7:30pm.

Rolle stated in an interview on ESPNs "First Take" yesterday that he expects to be selected as early as the third round.
