Based on the popular web series, “High Maintenance” takes an endearingly lucid look into the lives of New Yorkers through the eyes of their pot deliveryman.

HBO announced the debut of its new original comedy series High Maintenance, premiering on September 16th at 23hrs*, exclusively on HBO in the Caribbean. Told from a fly-on-the-wall point of view through its offbeat humor and pathos, the half-hour series follows a Brooklyn pot dealer, dubbed “The Guy,” who delivers to an eccentric group of clients with neuroses as diverse as the city they live in. High Maintenance will also be available on HBO GO and HBO On Demand.

The show first began as a web series on Vimeo that received popular and critical acclaim. From the unexpected and unconventional to the predictable and mundane, High Maintenance provides a glimpse into the daily routines of the customers and how they light things up, revealing a city full of strangers united by the perennial pursuit of life’s greatest highs.

Created, written and directed by the married duo of Katja Blichfeld (Emmy®-winning casting director of 30 Rock) and Ben Sinclair (Sisters, The Big C), High Maintenance is produced by Janky Clown Productions; executive produced by Katja Blichfeld, Ben Sinclair and Russell Gregory; directed by Katja Blichfeld and Ben Sinclair; cast by Katja Blichfeld; and edited by Ben Sinclair.

HBO is home to the most talked about programs on television including series, films, documentaries and the biggest blockbuster movies available anytime, anywhere on HBO GO. High Maintenance joins a long list of original comedies HBO has produced including the critically acclaimed award-winning series Sex and the City, Girls, Silicon Valley and Veep, as well as Ballers, which was recently confirmed for a third season, Vice Principals and the upcoming new premieres of Divorce and Insecure.
