Accuweather has released a thunderstorm warning for New Providence from 2pm-4pm on Tuesday.

The storm could produce heavy rainfall with rainfall rates exceeding 0.50 inches per hour at times in addition to lightning. In general, rainfall totals from this storm will range between 0.50-1.00 inches, though locally higher amounts will be possible.
