Todd's academy set to take teams to Florida

The Coach John Todd Elite Basketball Academy is once again taking three basketball teams to southern Florida to play in a series of Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) tournaments, from July 16-31.

The 13-and-under, 14-and-under and 15-and-under teams will play in Clearwater, Florida in the United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA) Fireworks Classic from July 16-18; at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida, from July 23-26; and finally at the Dynasty Hoops Back 2 School Classic, from July 29-31.

The young teams will train at the Winter Park Community Center.

Also, while in southern Florida, the youngsters will make a number of school visits - the University of Central Florida, the University of South Florida, Florida Southern College and the University of Tampa.

The cost to take each of the student-athletes on the trip is $1800, and the academy is appealing to Corporate Bahamas, and anyone wishing to assist.
