MINISTRY PROVIDES FUNDS FOR FARMERS CAY REGATTA

The Hog Tusk will have to sail a near perfect race if it wants to retain the title of the fastest Cclass sloop competing in this year’s Rev. Leon Bain Farmers Cay Regatta. Boat owners such as Rev. Dr. Phillip McPhee and Cecil Smith said that they are ready to dethrone the Hog Tusk and sail away with the overall title. The popular regatta is in its 13th year.
The first race will get underway on Friday in Farmers Cay, Exuma. The regatta will be held over two days and will host about 14 C-class sloops.
Boats will compete in the Ocean Race and a three-race series.
