Grand Bahama Youth Choir Featured Act in Miami at Bahamas' 42nd Independence Miami At Bahamas? 42nd Anniversary of Independence Celebrations On July 16

The Grand Bahama Youth Choir will be the featured act at The Bahamas’ Cultural Expose, in celebration of The Bahamas’ 42nd Anniversary of Independence, on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at the Miami Dade College North Campus, Lehman Theatre, located at 11380 NW 27 Avenue, Miami, Florida. The event, organized by the Bahamas Consulate General Miami office, kicks off at 7 pm and admission is free.

Known for their colorful, and authentic-styled performances, the Grand Bahama Youth Choir are certain to delight their audience with their impressive and extensive repertoire.

Started in February 2009 to sing during the opening ceremony of the Grand Bahama local government conference and led by Artistic Director and veteran musician, Kevin G. Tomlinson, the Choir has been featured on the Trinity Broadcasting Network, CNN and on numerous television stations throughout the Caribbean.

The accomplished group has performed with six-time Grammy Award winner, Pastor Marvin L. Winans and the Marvin L. Winans Academy in Detroit, Michigan and has performed for leading organizations in the United States including the Miss Universe Organization, MMI Leadership Conference and the World Harmony Organization in New York City.
