Bahamas' Simeon Hall gets a 'Taste of Fame' at Atlanta's Chefs of The World

ATLANTA, Georgia - Chef Simeon Hall hit a high note in Atlanta, Georgia where he participated in this year's Chefs of The World: A Taste of Fame on March 2.
Now in its 10th year, this year's attendees included the family of media mogul Ted Turner, Atlanta Hawks co-owners plus celebrities such as Ludacris, T.I., Emmanuel Lewis, Eddie Long and Demetria McKinney.
The National Black College Alumni Hall of Fame hosts the culinary and Chef Hall's appearance was sponsored by Immerse Bahamas and Dolphin Cove of Freeport, Bahamas.
Hall and the other chefs prepared a five course meal for their tables which were purchased by various companies.
Thomas 'Trey' Dortch, III, son of the founder of the event and chairman of the board, said that his family is quite familiar with Bahamian cuisine, due to annual trips to the islands.
Thomas W. Dortch, Jr., extended an invitation to Immerse Bahamas President and CEO Ginger Moxey for The Bahamas last year to participate in Chef of the World (COTW) 2015.
