On Thursday July 24th, 2014 the team of the GET OUT docudrama paid a visit to the office of the Minister of Social Services and presented the Hon. Melonie S. Griffin, who participated in the success of the film with a copy of the film and t-shirt. Dr. Sandra Dean-Patterson of The Bahamas Crisis Center was also presented with a check to assist the center in their work.

The donation was also made possible with the joint effort of The Salus Project, who paired up with the GET OUT Team and hosted an Art Exhibition. The efforts were to bring about awareness of Domestic Violence; the project was headed by Dr. Graham Cates.

GET OUT is a docudrama about domestic violence in the Bahamas. The goal of the film is to awaken and empower victims to get out of the situation and challenge abusers to reconsider their actions and seek help to change.
