A Stationary Front continues to linger near the extreme Southeast Bahamas/Turks and Caicos and will support some showers across the southern islands. Strong High Pressure anchored north of the area will support fresh breezes across the Bahamas through the week. Some quick passing showers will move across the area on the strong breezes. By the weekend another front will move across the Bahamas with some showers along it’s boundary. High pressure will build back across the area in wake of the front early next week.

MONDAY 28th – Variable cloudiness and breezy with the chance of a few isolated showers during the day…mainly breezy and mild at night. A Small Craft Caution will be in effect. Winds: Northeasterly at 15 to 20 knots. Seas: 4 to 7 feet over the ocean.

TUESDAY 29th – Variable cloudiness and breezy to windy with the chance of a few quick passing showers. A Small Craft Advisory will be in effect. Winds: Northeast to East at 15 to 25 knots. Seas: 5 to 8 feet over the ocean.

WEDNESDAY 30th – Partly sunny and breezy with the chance of an isolated shower or two during the day…Breezy with a few stray showers at night. A Small Craft Advisory will be in effect. Winds: Easterly at 15 to 25 knots. Seas: 5 to 8 feet over the ocean.

THURSDAY 31st – Partly sunny, windy and warm with few isolated showers possible during the day…fair and breezy with the chance of a few passing showers at night. A Small Craft Advisory will be in effect.Winds: East to Southeast at 15 to 25 knots. Seas: 6 to 9 feet over the ocean.

FRIDAY 1st – Partly sunny, breezy to windy and warm with few isolated showers possible during the day…fair and breezy with the chance of a few passing showers at night. A Small Craft Caution will be in effect for the Northwest Bahamas and an Advisory will be in effect for the Central and Southeast Bahamas. Winds: East to Southeast at 15 to 20 knots in the Northwest Bahamas and 20 to 25 knots in the Central and Southeast Bahamas. Seas: 4 to 7 feet over the ocean in the Northwest Bahamas and 6 to 9 feet in the Central and Southeast Bahamas.

SATURDAY 2nd – Partly sunny, warm and breezy with a few scattered showers possible during the day…partly cloudy and breezy with a few stray showers possible at night. A Small Craft Caution will be in effect.Winds: Southeast to South at 15 to 20 knots in the Northwest and Central Bahamas and East to Southeast at 15 to 20 knots in the Southeast Bahamas. Seas: 4 to 7 feet over the ocean.

SUNDAY 3rd – Partly cloudy and breezy with isolated showers in the Northwest Bahamas to partly sunny, warm and breezy in the Central and Southeast Bahamas during the day…becoming partly cloudy with few showers at night. A Small Craft Caution will come into effect in the Northwest Bahamas. Winds: South to Southwest in the Northwest Bahamas ahead of the front becoming Northwest to north at 15 to 20 knots behind the front…and Southeast to South at 10 to 15 knots in the Central and Southeast Bahamas. Seas: building 4 to 7 feet over the ocean in the Northwest Bahamas behind the front…and 2 to feet in the Central and Southeast Bahamas.
