THE Bahamas Prison Officers Association said yesterday that it supports the Police Staff Association in its attempts to get the government to address reported mould contamination in police stations across New Providence.

As promised, Killarney's Member of Parliament, Hon. Dr. Hubert A. Minnis, has commenced a verge cleaning program in Killarney. 

The verges in South Westridge has been completed and Westridge is now being cleaned. Dr. Minnis will then have the workers move on to Bahamia West and Kisskadee.

Dr. Minnis is also planning a road patch programme which will commence very soon.

Coca-Cola and the Sandals Foundation continue support of P.A.C.E. Foundation

The Coca-Cola Company partnered for the second time with Sandals Foundation to host the largest charity function in aid of the P.A.C.E. (Providing Access to Continued Education) Foundation – Vibes on the Island. The P.A.C.E. Foundation, which assists over 3,000 adolescent mothers in the Bahamas, is seeking funding for the refurbishment of a building on East Street.

After the concert the Coca-Cola Company presented the P.A.C.E Foundation with an additional donation of $50,000.
