You don't have to be a frump to rock that bump!

Finding out that you're pregnant is very exciting. In fact, in the beginning, you may exude that "pregnant glow" when you look and feel great, but sometimes very quickly thereafter, many women are plagued with morning sickness. Why they call it "morning sickness" has yet to be determined as feeling sick when pregnant, is not just a morning occurrence. Some women are sick all day long and some just at night. If you have no idea what morning sickness feels like, be very thankful. Many women have a hard time coping and staying true to their "inner goddess" when they are nauseous all day long for months.
It is quite common to feel differently when you are pregnant. You may have good days and not so good days. Times when you have a ton of energy, can run a flight of stairs, and other times when you have to drag yourself everywhere. The good news is, even if you feel like a train ran over you, you do not have to look that way. Let's face it, you are going through a ton of changes, you don't have to give up everything when pregnant. You can still wear heels, and dress like a diva. Yes, I said it! You don't have to wear, only flats. Don't believe me? Check out Rosie Pope, she made pregnant in heels all the rage. In fact, she even had a reality show and wrote a book about it. Sorry ladies, if this was your excuse to be extra comfy without judgment, I just ruined it. Thank goodness flats are super trendy now.
The reality is that wearing heels can throw off your balance and since being pregnant changes your center of gravity, it can make you unstable and you don't want to fall. If you feel unsteady wearing the heels, I would suggest, you wear your flats. And, as always, refer to your health care provider for further clarification.
Then there's the fact that until recently, pregnancy fashion had been a miss. Now, you can find everything from Spanx for pregnancy and leggings, to the Maxi dress, jeans, and even the sexiest maternity and nursing lingerie. You don't have to be a frump to rock that bump! In fact, looking like yourself probably has a lot to do with feeling good. Products like the belly band make it super easy to wear your own clothes longer. For many woman, it is the mid-section that grows the most, leaving just the zipper and buckle unable to fasten. The belly band is one of my top maternity picks, it's a great product to make sure you can still wear all of your trendy clothes longer. Very cool indeed. It can even be worn after giving birth while you are still waiting to get back into those skinny jeans.
This season is wild with the cutest spring dresses for pregnancy.

Casual dresses, both short and long, bright colors and stripes seem to be all the rage for dressing that baby bump, so throw out that Muu Muu dress and jazz things up a bit. Bring out the color and rock those heels. After all, you don't have to be a celeb to style your pregnancy.
