Funeral Service for Charles Edward Dames, age 66 years a resident of Wulff Road and formerly of Deep Creek South Andros, will be held on Monday 9th April, 2012, 11:00 a.m. at Bethel Baptist Church, Meeting Street. Officiating will be Pastor Alfred N Brown, Pastor Timothy Stuart.  Cremation will follow.
 
He is survived by his wife of 42 years Marina Dames, 3 sons DeVaughn, Chevron and Charles Dames Jr; Daughters in law Dr Odette Dames, Alicia and Sandy Dames; Grand son,  Devaughn Dames Jr; 6 brothers Henry and Wilmore Dames, Emerson, Cyril and Carnett Pinder, Harry Glinton; 7 sisters Andrea Moss, Verna Stubbs, Catherine Johnson, Cess Francis, Yvonne Johnson, Sylvia Rolle and  Verona Bastian; Aunt Ismae Rahming, numerous nieces and nephews including Deborah Rodger, Terry Rodgers, Candy Moss, Sabrina Glinton, Gail Smith, Michelle Glinton, Candia and Crystal Moss, Burlington Moss, Unochea Rodgers;  Sisters in law Gloria Laing, Virginia Outten;  Brothers in law  Arlington Moss, Carlton Turnquest, George Turnquest and James Turnquest; other relatives and friends including Leslie French, Troy Nixon, Roxburg Williams, Alexander Stuart, Rosemary Duncombe, Lillian Rolle, Pastor Ednal Cash, Minister Emerald Cash, Pam Culmer, Elaine Cash, Euthalie Rahming, Patricia Cooper, Liz Johnson, Candice Rahming, Arianna Dames, Helen Gage, Marcia Brown, Anthony Williams Sr, Joey Williams, Anthony Brown, Karen Knowles, Norma Pierre, Terrance Knowles Sr and Terrance Knowles Jr, Pastor Alfred Brown and Central Baptist Church, Pastor Timothy Stuart and the Bethel Baptist Church family, and others too numerous to mention.

Relatives and friends may pay their respects at Cedar Crest Funeral Home, Robinson Road & First Street on Saturday from 12:00 noon to 6:00p.m. and  at  the church on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until to service time.
