FML's Flowers found guilty of lottery promotion

BUSINESSMAN and FML webshop owner Craig Flowers was found guilty in Magistrate's Court yesterday of lottery promotion and permitting his business to be used as a lottery shop.

The ruling, handed down in Court Five, Bank Lane, came more than two years after Flowers and 14 of his employees were arraigned in connection with a raid on FML's headquarters April 28, 2009.

Flowers, who was charged with the two offences after the bust on the Wulff Road webshop, was fined by Magistrate Derence Rolle-Davis.

He was ordered to pay $5,000 on each charge or face separate two year prison sentences.
