Bahamas Junkanoo Carnival Crowds Flocked to Taino Beach Despite Rain

To kickoff the Bahamas Junkanoo Carnival in Freeport, Grand Bahama, on Friday, three skydivers landed on the event site, Taino Beach, with Keith Walter carrying the Bahamian flag. The exciting event followed the Grand Bahama Youth Choir’s singing of the National Anthem, directed by Kevin Tomlinson. Despite rain, residents and visitors flocked to Taino Beach for the two-day event.


BTC was a major sponsor for Bahamas Junkanoo Carnival with a donation of $1 Million, $650,000 cash and $350,00 time.
