Primary school student pays courtesy call on the Governor General

Representatives of the Board of Directors of the ‘Bahamas Primary School Student of the Year Foundation’ and the Awards Committee paid a courtesy call on Her Excellency Governor General Dame Marguerite Pindling at Government House on Monday, January 18, 2016.

The Foundation officially launched the search for the 2016 Bahamas Primary School Student of the Year. Since 1997 the Bahamas Primary School Student of the Year Foundation has honoured the best and brightest primary school students in the country. The Foundation has recognized over 1,800 students since establishing the Awards Program and has awarded some one million dollars in scholarships and prizes.
