Surviving BTC robbery suspect alleges police brutality

The second suspect in last Friday's armed hold-up of the Shirley Street BTC office appeared before a magistrate yesterday.
Police arrested Godfrey Hepburn, 27, of Clarkes Alley, St James Road, and Owen Rolle, 35, of Monastery Park, shortly after two men robbed the office of $787.87.
However, Rolle died at the Central Detective Unit of an apparent heart attack hours after his arrest. Police said that Rolle collapsed after complaining of chest pains.
Hepburn did not have to enter a plea to the armed robbery charge during his arraignment before Deputy Chief Magistrate Carolita Bethell.
