HBO Latin America brings audiences in the Caribbean two hit films and an HBO comedy special, premiering every Saturday in July at 21:00hrs AST*.

THE GREAT GATSBY (Saturday, July 12, 21:00hrs AST*), co-written and directed by Baz Luhrmann, is a drama film based on F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, Carey Mulligan, Joel Edgerton, and Elizabeth Debicki. It follows the life and times of millionaire Jay Gatsby and his neighbor Nick, who recounts his encounter with Gatsby at the height of the Roaring Twenties. Nick is drawn into the captivating world of the super-rich, their illusions, loves and deceits. As Nick bears witness, within and without the world he inhabits, he pens a tale of impossible love, incorruptible dreams and high-octane tragedy, and holds a mirror to our own modern times and struggles.

Native American warrior Tonto recounts the untold tales that transformed John Reid, THE LONE RANGER (Saturday, July 19, 21:00hrs AST*), into a man of the law and a legend of justice. Directed by Gore Verbinski, the film stars Johnny Depp as Tonto, who narrates the story, and Armie Hammer as Reid, the Lone Ranger. Tonto recounts memories of the duo's earliest efforts to subdue the immoral actions of the corrupt and bring justice to the American Old West, as he seeks to bring justice to those responsible for massacring his tribe when he was a young boy. William Fichtner, Barry Pepper, Ruth Wilson, James Badge Dale, Tom Wilkinson and Helena Bonham Carter are also featured in supporting roles.

Six-time Emmy® winner Billy Crystal’s autobiographical journey is recounted in BILLY CRYSTAL 700 SUNDAYS (Saturday, July 26, 21:00hrs AST*), one of the most acclaimed and highest grossing plays in Broadway history. Taped before a live audience at the Imperial Theatre in New York, this HBO comedy special is an original, two-act play in which Crystal plays numerous characters who have influenced who he is today, dealing with his youth, growing up in the jazz world of Manhattan, his teenage years and, finally, adulthood. It is about family and fate, loving and loss.
