ALLEGATIONS of sexual abuse at a primary school has led to government fears of incest and molestation on a wider scale in a local community.

The alarm bells rang after a security guard at Gambier Village Primary School was arrested over claims of sexual abuse by several students. He is now being questioned by police.

Education and social services officials fear there may be a wider problem of child abuse within the Gambier Village community after the investigation unearthed further claims of incest and sexual exploitation.
