Make others feel special

There's no doubt about it, if we really wish to succeed, prosper and be at peace, we need to develop a giving nature. That's right, even though the prominent mode of thinking today throughout so much of the world appears to be one of, what can I get, I suggest, that looking at things from a purely spiritual perspective, we need to turn that around 180 degrees and thus spend our time endeavoring to give to others, family, friends, co-workers, indeed all whom we come in contact with throughout each and every day and night. Yes indeed, as that well-known saying puts it so simply and yet eloquently, it is indeed more blessed to give than to receive.
Of course, as the universal law of cause and effect states quite clearly, as we sow, so shall we reap. So, by giving generously to others, with no ulterior motive, we will indeed reap a rich harvest of blessings. Now incidentally, this giving does not always have to be of a material nature. That's right, there are so many ways in which we can give to others which don't actually cost money, but which can have a profound effect on others.
One of the things I'd like to suggest to all of my valued readers here today, is that you can do as instructed in the title of this article and thus go out of your way each and every day to make others feel special. I guarantee you, that if you do this religiously, you will indeed reap a rich harvest of wonderful blessings, for as you sow, so shall you reap.
So my friend, it's now time for action. I want you to stop what you're doing and write out a list of those whom you need to assist in feeling really special today. Let's start with your spouse or significant other, tell him or her how much you love them, and how beautiful or handsome you think they are as you give them a hug and kiss. Tell your children how very proud you are of them and the progress they're making at school or work, depending on their age.
Compliment your co-workers telling them they look sharp. Even strangers in the supermarket or drug store would I'm sure welcome a smile, a courteous act from you without you being too intrusive. Yes indeed, today's the day for you to make others feel special.
