Two students stabbed in altercation at Doris Johnson High

An altercation at Doris Johnson Senior High School yesterday landed two male students in hospital with stab wounds.
According to information reaching The Guardian, the two teenagers - one in grade 10 and the other a grade 12 student - got into an altercation at the rear of the school, which resulted in both of them receiving stab wounds to the shoulder and back.
Police press liaison officer Sergeant Chrislyn Skippings said the incident occurred around 8.45 a.m.
Skippings said the boys, who are both 16, were detained in stable condition at the hospital.
The Guardian made several attempts yesterday to speak with the school's principal but was told she was out of office.
